What better source of fashion inspiration than the couture runways and nobody does wearable couture gowns better than Elie Saab. I could not choose a favourite but I did manage to narrow them down. I am a big fan of Elie Saab and so much in love with fall 2012 couture collection, every piece is simply glamorous. They are breathtakingly beautiful and be warned this is going to be a photo overload!!

Elie Saab has always been one of my favourite couture designers, and although he rarely mixes up his classic style and distinct couture mixture of lace, embellishment, chiffon, nipped in waists and billowing fabrics, you can't help but fall in love with every look that he creates down the catwalk. There is such variety in the gown silhouettes and necklines, I am hoping some of these translate into next seasons bridal market!

Chiffon, tulle, velvet, and Swarovski crystals—what more could a girl ask for?
Sparkly nude gowns — crepe georgette short sleeve blouson dress adorned with sequins; long sleeve boat neck gown entirely embroidered with sequins on chiffon base, sequin embroidered tulle gown with draped tail fixed on the shoulder.
Take note ladies! Elie Saab’s couture collections always take feminine elegance to new heights and sticking to delicate tones of ivory, bronze and grey, Saab’s gowns were adorned with Swarovski crystals and sequins which truly made the dramatic silhouettes and plunging necklines sparkle. Adding lace-works to the runway in the form of flirty skirts and dresses; the collection contained wearable options to offset the sumptuous glamour.

This collection spoke on the levels of evening wear with a BANG!

I have to add I love the minimal, radiant make-up, allowing the dresses to speak for itself.
I know one thing that’s for certain, is the colours and the softness of Elie Saab’s collection portrayed along the runway. Easily it’s the mechanism of mobility that shimmered and the movement of each garment shows the illusion of sheered elegance. This collection spoke on the levels of evening wear with a BANG!

Saab’s dresses with Swarovski crystals and sequins, truly made the dramatic silhouettes and plunging necklines sparkle.
Sooo… any favorites? Or are you like me completely willing to wear a blindfold and pick a dress out of a bag, sight unseen and wear it to the Oscars (if you’re invited) because they are ALL THAT GOOD.
