January is a crazy month for us, we're not even half way through; our upcoming fashion show will be a lot to handle. We will make a special announcement for this one soon! Fashion is exciting and exhilarating when it changes by the minute; it keeps you on your toes. Monique Lhuillier (pronounce as Lu-hu-li-yeh) is one of those shows which figured in the best NYFW shows according to many fashion enthusiasts.

For her Spring 2011 collection, Monique mesmerizes us with two looks; her off white and cream floral print ball gowns and her spin on retro contemporary minimalist look that dominates this season. She still manages to incorporate the 70s into her collection, like the high waist wide leg trousers and dressy blouse look and two daywear looks in white tweed.

Stardust embroidered gown with illusion neckline & tulle skirt
One of our favourite dress and definitely will be in our collection is the stardust embroidered gown, with illusion neckline and tulle skirt. You could also see the meticulous attention to detail in the craftsmanship. Everything from the hand beading of a corset or the specially placed petal of a skirt proved that while Lhuillier may dream in fairy tales, she's also adept at outfitting them in real life. Bring on the Prince Charmings!
