MoonWalk

I decided that I needed to step up and make charity advocation this year through joining the "Moonwalk" and help raising money and awareness of breast cancer. Sometimes we take what we have for granted and if I wasn't as fortunate as I am, I wouldn't have the ability to lead the life I do. My dream has always been to help others and contribute to the underpriviledged turning their dreams into a reality.

My good friends and I dedicated the amount of time required to train for this event. Many blisters, painstaking walk up the hills, long distance run & walk, arduous session at the gym almost everyday - it brings out the feel-good factor inside me plus feeling the joy of every penny raised will be well and truly earned.

Teams of women and men all over the world will be joining us -the MOONWALK, we called it the Scottish "Mardi Gras". Not only we will be painting Edinburgh, the beautiful city with our decorated bras, we are going to endeavour the challenge to complete 42km walk from night till morning.

I know it's going to be difficult physically but I will keep this mantra with me tomorrow all the time, "Pain is only temporary, failure is forever!". It will be definitely a night to remember.
